Chapel and reception spaces

Holly Hill Chapel has seating for 100 people. Chairs can be arranged to accommodate various numbers of guests. We can assist in arranging a reception complete with a meal provided by your church or organization. We can also assist with making arrangements for the main course of your choice, encouraging area churches to bring side dishes and refreshments. Holly Hill Memorial Park cemetery

Holly Hill Memorial Park comprises 60 serene acres. Smaller than many other cemeteries, it has a pastoral feel and truly showcases North Florida’s natural beauty. Morning doves nest in pink-blooming crepe myrtles. Exquisitely manicured boxwood hedges border each garden.

Burial options include traditional in-ground burial with an upright granite monument or a flush-to-the-ground marker and above-ground entombment in our new community mausoleum. Cremation options include niches, memorial benches and columbaria. Families who wish to be buried together may choose to work with us on a private mausoleum or private burial estate.

Among the cemetery's 9 gardens is a veterans garden called Garden of Patriots. There, a special monument and a solitary American flag stand as perpetual reminders of fallen heroes and honored veterans.

Green burials

Working together, Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home and Holly Hill Memorial Park offer conservation burials. This truly green burial option is performed without embalming fluid or a casket. We shroud your loved one in biodegradable linen or cotton and place him or her into a grave lined with pine straw. We stand with families who want to take advantage of this burial option, and provide support and guidance through each step of the process.

History

More than 40 years ago, a group of Jacksonville citizens responded to the demands of a rapidly growing population and subsequent need for professional funeral and burial services. In 1976, they selected a 60-acre site in Clay County atop a gently sloping hill between Middleburg and Orange Park.

Once built, the sister locations of Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home and Holly Hill Memorial Park began serving the immediate funeral and burial needs of this northern Florida community.

Today, the businesses are members of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, burial, cremation and cemetery service providers. They give you not only the warm, familiar attention you expect from a locally operated establishments but also the value you deserve.
